The brand-new luxury riverboat Aqua Nera cruises deep into the Peruvian Amazon, on three-, four- or seven-night itineraries that bring you face to face with one of the wildest regions left on earth. The ship features 20 Design Suites (including 4 interconnecting suites) complete with premium fittings and bedding, air-conditioning, and full-length windows to gaze at the endlessly enthralling panorama of the Amazon river and rainforest. In every room, the jungle views are framed by sharp modernist furnishings. There is an open-air Jacuzzi, gym, spa, cocktail lounge and a fine-dining restaurant with a menu designed by a renowned expert in Peruvian cuisine. The team of skilled guides will be there to lead you on jungle walks in search of spectacled caymans, on fishing trips for piranhas, and on swimming excursions with the rare Amazonian Pink Dolphin. All this and more while imparting their knowledge of the river’s extraordinary ecosystem in fun and interactive ways for both adults and little ones.

There are four interconnecting suites ideal for larger families which can accommodate a maximum of three guests per suite. Bedding in these suites can be configured as either a premium California King bed or in a Twin bed configuration (available upon request).
For excursions, you'll need cool, light clothing that you’d wear to trek through a jungle and some comfortable walking shoes. Pack some smarter threads for the evening.
Get back into a more natural rhythm with a visit to the onboard spa, where you can get massages that incorporate Amazonian herbal aromatherapy techniques. All of the oils used in the treatments are completely natural, extracted from indigenous local ingredients like coconut and camu camu.
Food And Drink
The dining room adds a dashing character with its black leather chairs, floor-to-ceiling windows and contemporary Peruvian art; crystal glasses and fine bone china add a luxurious finishing touch. The modern Peruvian menu was created by executive chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, whose knowledge and creativity has caught many an eye on the global dining scene. The man behind two of Lima’s best restaurants, Schiffiano is dedicated to unearthing the culinary secrets of the Peruvian Amazon, often journeying deep into the jungle in search of ingredients found nowhere else. Try his Aqua-style sautéed beef tenderloin and the spicy river snails, which are served with tapioca and turmeric sofrito.
Celestielle Seen & Loved It Tip:
We always recommend our guests book an upper-deck suite as these are located a bit further away from the engine and thus tend to be a bit quieter. The first-deck suites have the advantage of being almost flush with the surface of the water, making you feel very connected to the river.
